Ferrari 599GTB Paint Correction and Detail

Here's another 599 we did a while ago. The initial condition was typical of a car we get that has never been properly detailed. As you'll see, the exterior had quite deep scratches and imperfections that needed our TLC. The interior of this 599 also got some close attention. The leather and upholstery cleaned up pretty good. I hope you guys enjoy reading this post as much as we did working on this gorgeous Ferrari.

Initial Condition

Tires, Wheels, and Wheel Well Cleaned - 40 Minutes

P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner is dwelling. This breaks down road grimme, tar, and brake dust.

Engine Cleaned - 20 Minutes

P21S Total Auto Wash, a citrus cleaner, was used to break down, loosen, and dissolve dirt and oils in the engine bay.

Exterior Rinsed and Washed - 30 Minutes

Are you kidding me. We love to drool over your work. Moe the number of hours you've put in for that car is staggering. Stunning results. When I was going through my C4S instruction manual they ask us to refrain from washing down your engine or using degreasing solvents citing that these invariably remove the factory anti-corrosion coating. Need your input. Kudos for the owner of the car appearing on the final picture. Thank you.

There are many "solvents" out there and to cover their rear, Porsche has to blanket ALL cleaners as not suited for the engine. P21S Total Auto Wash is a citrus-based cleaner that doesn't have any harsh chemicals or acids in it. Hence why we use it. So, from our 15 years of experience, if you follow our directions, you won't harm anything in your Porsche engine bat.

Thanks a million for the kind words...passionate people like you are what fuels our company.

All spruced up and ready to roll! I'm glad to see that the car is driven a lot. When they are out & about, they get dirty. I'm also a big fan of P21S TAW -- it's the only such product that I use under the hood.

I'm going to make the jump from orbital to rotary this year and I notice that the Flex is your weapon of choice. Do you feel that it has advantages over the Makita and others or is it just a personal preference. With so many choices out there, it's tough to evaluate them all.

Thanks again for the extensive detailing display!
