Small water spots

Hello all,

I have tiny little water spots on my roof. They are very small dots but still annoying. Tried claying but to no avail. I dont' want to use vinegar either.

Are there any good products on removing water spots shy of buffing the car?

Thanks!

Why not use vinegar? You can use Chemical Guys water spot remover, but its also a weak acid.

Cheers,
GREG

What about 21S total car wash? Does that work well on spots since it's acidic?

21s TCW will strip off all your wax/sealant, it might work, but I don't believe its even a weak acid.

Water spots are alkaline and you need a acid to counter that bond.

Cheers,

You're so close, take a ride over to Norwood and stop at DetailersDomain. Phil will take good care of you.

Tom - you read my mind. In fact, I am planning to head over there tomorrow to check out his shop.

Depending on the severity of the water spots, I've found that I can use a light polish and take care of the problem in minutes if other options proved useless.
