Is 300$ For a 1 step polish too expensive?

Hmmmm....what products is he using? Can you post pictures of your car's paint? Unless the swirls are really light, you cannot do a single-stage polish with a rotary and call it a day.

I'll just post pictures of his work; I can't get pictures of my car up for the next two weeks. I dont have time to sit outside with my camera and take pictures until this finals wave is over.

I just looked at the posting you linked us to. From what I can tell, he is doing a through job with that car. Having someone that will take paint readings, and use of higher end chemicals should ease the mind.

He is not using a Rotary, he is using a flex 3401 which is a dual action polisher, simliar to a porter cable DA. You can one step a car with mild correction that way.

Will do - thanks everyone, much appreciated. You have a great community here... hopefully I'll be able to afford my own porsche one day instead of using my dad's hard earned money
