By hand, pad, or machine: applying carcauba wax?
Tried applying wax by hand, ie, rubbing it on my palms and spreading it around using my hands. Seemed to work well but took a bit of effort and energy. I did like how you could feel the wax and paint and get a sense of the surface.
Then got out my griot's 3" polisher and tried that. Used a red pad and just rubbed the wax on the pad. This was SUPER fast, and seemed to be apply a very thin coat. I set the griot polisher on speed 2. I usee the griots over the flex bc the griots is lighter and easier to control around tight areas.
I prefer the hand method over using a foam pad if i have time, and the polisher is just so very much faster than using a foam pad. So why use a foam pad at all?
Any thoughts on the best way to apply carcauba wax?
ps, i was using p21s 100% carcauba wax.

Hand application of Carnauba wax is usually the preserve of Zymöl and Swissvax glazes, which utilize #1 grade Carnauba, which varies from a very pale yellow (so called ‘white’), through a greenish brown (yellow). .

And "by hand", I'm assuming you mean using a foam pad.
I was using "by hand" to mean "by hand, literally" - where you rub the wax between your palms/fingers and apply it with your palms/fingers. I read somewhere that that's a "good" method for carnauba waxes.
