Cleaning Black Powdercoated Wheels
Any suggestions on this guys? I prefer those sprays that you spray on before a high power wash then rinse of with no touching but would that chemical hurt the wheel or powder coat? TIA!

I used Sonax on my previous wheels (black powder coated). Spray on and agitate with a wheel brush. No problems and best wheel cleaner I've used.

P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner, light agitation, dry, apply some Sonax Speed Wax with mf towel, and they'll look fantastic.

No. IMHO, there isn't a wheel cleaner I'd use off the shelf at an auto parts store.

Will these products work for wheels with silver centers and polished lip?

Just had my wheels picked up for refinishing (powdercoat satin black w/ polished lip)...will be ordering soon Moe.

Thanks...appreciate it.

You wouldn't want to use the polishing soap or finish restorer on powdercoat...just finish restorer on the lip.

The wheel cleaner and ez detail brush will be OK on both parts.

Thanks, I just placed the order. So to be clear on the steps:
1. Wash wheels with cleaner.
2. Polish the lips with restorer.
3. Apply sealant.
