New CR Spotless Leaving Spots

I just used my CR spotless for the 2nd time and it's leaving spots. The meter reads 000 but when it drys there are spots. It didn't work the 1st time either? What could I be missing?

Jason, this could be due to several factors:

1. Are the filters installed correctly? The black gasket should be on top and the metal ring should be keeping the canisters centered

2. Do you see an indentation on the black gasket. If so, you're making a good seal

3. How much water are you flowing into the system. If you flow too much, the resin doesn't have a chance to fully di the water

4. If all the above checks out, then let's order you a new batch of resin

Thank Moe,

I check everything you listed after the first time I used it and it didn't work. Everything looked good. The only thing could be the water flow I guess but...

1) I have it hooked to my pressure washer which is only 1.2 GPM
2) The reader says 000. If the water was not fully getting died wouldn't that meter read something high then 000?

Thanks Buddy!

It's VERY important that the water pressure going INTO the CR isn't too high. Try backing down that pressure and see if it helps.

Ok I'll give that a try next time and go from there. I didn't have it very high and it is connected to the pressure washer so it's not like water is just flowing through.

If this doesn't do it, let's get you some new resin
