Best Glass Cleaner

I've searched the forum and all the recommendations for glass cleaners seem to come from those selling the products...with no endorsements from users. I've only tried Windex and it isn't doing a very good job. My water is medium hard, but that shouldn't be a factor when using Windex. Any recommendations?

The trick is the towel, cleaner, and technique. Make sure you're using a microglass towel that doesn't have a nap.

Lumiere all-natural glass cleaner was perfected for ease of use. Simply use two microtowels folded in half. Spray towel 1 and begin wiping glass. Then flip towel 1 and wipe again. Take towel 2, give final wipe. Glass should feel very smooth and that's usually a a sign of clean and streak-free glass. Repeat on all glass until complete

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Moe is right on as usual. The only glass towels I will ever use. The only difference is that I use Stoners Invisible Glass...available everywhere.

Stoner's Invisible Glass it pretty decent, and available everywhere as mentioned. It's also safe on tint I believe. I prefer to finish glass the same way as paint, by sealing or waxing.

I can vouch for these towles... just tried them for the first time a few weeks ago... work very well, even better than the older green ones. Almost doesn't matter what cleaner you use (the Adams stuff works fine for me as do others). The towels make all the difference.

[The trick is the towel, cleaner, and technique. Make sure you're using a microglass towel that doesn't have a nap]

Of the questions I get asked about vehicle detailing the one that is asked most often is on glass cleaning (followed closely by how to care for leather upholstery) 15 to 20% of a car’s surface is glass

Window cleaning has always presented a challenge for professional and enthusiast detailers, both demand perfection with streak-free, crystal-clear glass. But without using the correct methodology, the correct towel and the correct product required to produce perfectly clear glass surfaces every time
