Need some detail help with my GTR

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and found this section and I could use some expert help. Let me start by saying that I know cars, but I'm a n00b when it comes to auto detailing.

I have recently been seeing some scratches and brownish scuff type marks show up on various body panels of my GTR. I had no idea what it could have been. After a number of wipedowns with some microfiber towels I bought at Advance Auto, they seem to be showing up on more areas of the car. The white color hides it pretty well, and you can't see them until you get within 12 inches of the car.

I'm getting more and more convinced that these POS microfiber towels are causing them b/c they seem to be showing up all over the car, and the only thing that has been on all of the panels are the towels. Most of the marks are small, but some are larger. These seem to be on the surface as I can't feel anything for most of them. See the pics below.

Seeing how I don't know much about detailing, I didn't know where to start to remove these. Someone recommended trying ScratchX 2.0, but I wanted to find out more so I don't make it worse.

I'm certain a paint correction would get these out as well as some other swirls and light scratches from driving, but would like to see if there is another option I should try first? I would really appreciate any help from you guys. I live in Northern Virginia (just outside of DC), is there anyone in my area who can take a look for me, and possibly do the work for me? I'd prefer to pay a pro to do this since this is not my area of expertise.

Also, can someone please recommend a quick detailer when I just need to wipe the car down? And, can someone tell me where to buy some quality multi-purpose microfiber towels that I can feel comfortable using on the car? Thanks for reading this long post!

The towels that you are buying at advanced may be all purpose towels and should not be used on painted exterior finishes. For paint use a more plush towel. They are more expensive but are alot softer and gental on the paint. How deep are the scratches? Also proper washing will cut down on swirls and scratches. Use the two bucket method.
