Menzerna's FMJ sealant will yield you 6-9 months of protection with one coat.

Well said...it's all in the prep work. However, if prepped properly, you will notice a difference between a higher quality wax and a cheaper one. But more importantly, it's not the day of the detail that's important. The reason higher quality waxes demand a higher price is due to how the car will look 10, 20, 30 washes later.
