Clear bra and wax.

I have clear bras on all my cars, I love them. The only problem I have is getting the wax out of the seams after I wax the car. I've tried using my finger nail and a micro fiber towel, I've tried tooth picks, I've tried using foam tip applicators, and nothing gets it all out. What do you guys use to get the white wax out of the seam on a black car? Thanks.

EliteConsulting is infamous around these parts
I give a can of Plexus to all of my customers. Works really well and doesn't leave any residue. You can find it at most motorcycle shops.

And in regards to the white residue you already have on the seam of your clear bra, go buy a detailing brush and it should help remove it.

I never use wax on the clear bra to begin with because with my experience, it usually yellows the clear plastic. Plexus is the best thing you can do for your clear bra.

Plexus is a great CLEANER, but it does not CONDITION and protect the film. I polish the film with a mild cleaner like Zymol HD-Cleanse or Menzerna Final Polish. I then wax it using Zymol Field Glaze or einszett Detail Spray. This will clean and protect the film. You can FEEL the difference between what I mentioned above and just using Plexus.

The majority of waxes are petrolium based and will cause the clear bra to yellow. While you might get away with it on darker colours, on a white car it will be noticeable.

Plexus leaves a protectant film behind and leaves the surface nice and slippery. Waxes also provide protection, but they will cause the clear bra to yellow noticeably.

My clear bra installer encouraged me to wax the film. He said that a good quality hard wax will not yellow the film. The yellowing in clear bras is due to the glue holding the clear film to the car.

Thats why the 3M stuff always yellows compared to ventureshield- thats what he said anyway.

Ventureshield told me to wax the bra just like you do the paint. That was what was told to me by the factory.

It varies between the quality of the wax. This is why I prefer to clean and condition the film with a product like Zymol HD or einszett mettalic polish and then wax using Zymol Field Glaze or einszett Detail. You can also clean with plexus and wax using the two sprays mentioned.
