I was surfing through ebay today and I saw an '05 F430 with a reserve of 90k, if anybody is interested. I don't know if it's a fishy auction as this car looks impeccable for that kind of reserve... Anyways, I thought I'd let you guys know in case anybody is interested and hasn't seen it yet.

That ad screams SCAM.

 

^^ agreed, i sent an email to ebay to have them check it out if it does any good.... It supposedly has a VIN Number, but I didn't check the legitimacy of it...People have started bidding already though, so hopefully they'll end it if it's really fake.

 

That ebay posting sounds like a scam to me. I would be very careful if any of you are even considering it.

If the ad is no scam then, why bid $225k for it and not contact the buyer and buy it directly for $90k like he said you could... ?

 

yeah, thats what I did. but I'm tired of it now. I am currently out of the country, but if you wire me $60k, I'll sell it at a loss because I'm such a nice guy.

People are ridiculous. Why and how do these things still keep working. And the sellers ratings are always amazing etc. etc. Why don't people understand, too good to be true and it is. But the fact that we even have to have threads like this is just nuts.

I want to see a thread started from people are stupid enough to buy one of these things!
