2004 360 CS or 2006 F430 ?
Hi... I'm looking at two cars:
2004 360 CS:
Sticker price 229,000 F1 gear, red ex. 2900 miles, coupe
2006 F430:
Sticker price 219,000 F1 gear, red ex. 3900 miles, coupe
The prices are almost the same, but they are totally different...
If you have these cars, could you mind share some of your opinions? I really needed help......guys......
BTW, how's the usually discount on the used Ferrari?
Thank you...

I too faced this very same dilema less than a month ago. Go with the King of the 360's or the most recent interpratation of the modern Berlinetta? It was an extremely tough decision to make (albeit one that I am fortunate, as you, to have). I absolutely love both cars, even though I had never experienced either one of them, having been a P-car guy for years. I chose the F430, and can honostly say I haven't regretted it for a minute. I listened to friends who told me the CS wasn't what I wanted: bad gear box, yes it sounds good but it's TOO loud after awhile and interior doesn't compare to the F430. No one can argue that the performance of the CS is equal to the 430. The F1 gear box in the 430 is, from what I hear, a much more enjoyable experience. The interior of the 430 is near perfection, and IMO the 430 looks more aggresive than the 360. I still admire the 360 CS, but my choice was for performance and a factory waranty never hurts either.

The C.S. is a niche car, purpose built. IMHO, a C.S. owner is a purist who appreciates the lineage from which the C.S. derives.
The 430 appeals to a larger group of buyers. You have purists but you also have owners who compared buying a 430 to an Aston Martin DB9 and decided to go with the Ferrari.
It's all quite subjective. Both are fantastic cars. Enjoy!

I like the 430. It's the one I would go with.
The CS is a great car. I recommend getting the CS if you were thinking of tracking your car on weekends, and if you enjoy a racier feel.
If you are going to be using it to drive around town, or go out on sunday drives, I would say the 430 is the way to go. Better interior, not as rough a ride as the CS. The 430 sounds great and looks great.
Go with the 430.

I Disagree with some of the opinions above. First off once again it is not a 360CS the car is a Challenge Stradale period 70% of its components have nothing to do with a 360, sorry but this correction is important.
This is really not a decision at all its who you are and what your needs are:
If you want a car you can take Sunday drives with the wife and enjoy a nicer ride while still having the Ferrari Experience you buy a 430. The 430 is an awesome car great box great sound etc
The CS is another beast all together you love it or hate it, it has nothing to do with that being your only sports car or not, it is the pure definition of a sports car in itself it is not an appliance like the GT3/RS ( ALSO AMAZING CARS!) but is is as raw and viceral as it comes, it is unique unto itself.
BTW that car at collection is way overpriced , I drove it as well.

It really depends on what you want to do...If it were me, I would get the F430 if I was going to drive it often. If i want a track car or just do alot of racing at tracks then I would probably get the CS. Then again you really cant decide until you go sit in each one and take them for a drive.
