Ferrari F40
i got to ride in my dream car today. a bright Red F40. a friend of mine called me and told me i needed to get over to his house in a hurry, so off i got in the 'ole Viper. i got to my friends house and see a beautiful F40 sittin in his driveway. i pull in and he complements my car and i do the same about his. we start talkin about his car then he offers to take me for a ride. i gladly accept so i crawl into the car and strap myself in. he fires up the TwinTurbo V8 and i about nut myself, it sounded that good. he put the car in reverse and eased the clutch out and we start rolling back far enough for him to turn around. and he put it in first after he got turned around. after we get out on the road he eased it through first, short shifted to second and brought it up to about 3k RPM's without actually going WOT he then shifted to third and nailed it, it pushed me back into the seat pretty good. i was grinning from ear to ear and i wasn't even driving shifting out of 3rd at around about 6k RPM's and oh my god that car sounded wicked.
well after a few quick blasts into the 100mph range we get back to my friends house he opens up the huge "hood" i can't think of what it's called so we'll go with hood for now. now i get to actually see a ferrari engine for the first time. damn was that a fun car to ride in. i had thed camera in the GTS but never thought to get it out. lol...

I "had to" drive a customers F40 from the Embassy Suites in Seaside, CA to the track at Laguna Seca because he wasn't going to be back in time to take it to the track. The sense of responsibility outweighed the need to have fun...
When I got to the track the customer called me and asked me how it was. I told him I didn't excercise the car at all. He told me I should have.
Amazing car is an understatement, even at the posted speed limit.

Beautiful car Kuzi, I think I saw it in person at the Des Moines Italian Concours last year?
