85K for yellow F1 360 ...is it really a good deal
#17
Price is about right. $80k is a good deal. Keep $5-7k around for repairs and enjoy the car like crazy. Realize that you will still face at least $1/mile depreciation even with a high mile car (i.e. when you hit 50k miles in it, expect the car to be worth $65k). Get a good PPI, get a second if it will help you sleep better, then enjoy the car if it is something you want.

they were converted to us specs ..i.e brake light diffrent air bags ..etc..what ever needed to conform with DOT standards..

I know of a RED / TAN 99 F1 US CAR........ NOT EURO with 24,000 Miles, full service including clutch for 90,000. I just sold a BLACK/Tan f1 with 28,000 Miles Full service + Clutch US car for 86,000 So no a EURO car is not worth 85K

Great deal but i bet you can bet on dropping a few quick G's on it once you take it to your local Ferrari dealer for serivce and a "check up".....regardless, if you can, and you are prepared for some otehr costs...seems like a deal to me?!

If it looks like a decent car and services are current, go for it.
Remember, all Ferrari's are made in EUROpe!!!

They are also said to be faster/lighter!

Are not too many 360's still under warranty, and the car is very reliable.

Its not what the car costs, but what will it cost to own. Even 355's go for about 60. So say you keep the car for ~5yrs, that's a loss of 4,000/yr. Add in 10,000 for upkeep. That's about 6 grand a year = 500/mo. Now that's alot of fun for 500/mo.

The price for the car is fair.. because it is a 99 Euro with 30k. It is not a steal nor overpriced.. just right. In my opinion, people are crazy not to get a euro because the price is 10-15% less, they weigh less, and have more power (2 less cats). Out of warranty either way.. my car can keep up with or pull on a Stradale. I paid 93k last year for my 2000 6sp with 17.5k which was a good deal to me. Car also came with custom wheels, tubi CF exhaust and a Capristo Stg 3. Being yellow, 6sp, euro, and capristo.. I couldnt pass it up. Was my perfect dream car. And it just had 30k + clutch done mos before. I feel I got a great deal even. Seller had to jump on a Stradale quickly at a good price, so we both won.
Dont be affraid of the fact it is euro.. people think its "tainted" when in fact that was the original design, the US spec being the "change" ! As long as maintenace has been done, she should run strong if not stronger than lower mileage US spec cars. Some conversions are 49 state cars, some 50 state cars - if you arent in CA, no big deal. Less money, more power.. take it!
