Spotted: 250 Gto
Just wanted to share this with you all. I spotted this a while ago in the valet lot at Tyson's Corner in VA. I was so mad I didn't have a camera with me, so all I got are crappy cell phone pics. I know they are unbelievably rare and valuable, and I know there are some really good replicas out there, so I wasn't sure if it was an original or not.
If it is a replica, someone did a very very outstanding job. The car was spotless, paint looked absolutely flawless, and the interior looked like an orignal 250 gto down to the quilted stitching and roll bar. Car had South Carolina historic plates.
I would have gotten a picture of the interior, but I was afraid some crazy security guards might drop from the trees or something
Regardless of whether it's an original or not, it was a stunning sight to see.

You can have historic plates, but that doesn't always mean the car is an original or authentic.
Case in point, there are a lot of AC cobra replicas running around with historic plates, since when they were registered at the local dmv they were noted as a car from that time frame. Thus that makes them eligible for historic plates.

Nose sits too high, proportions are wrong. I used to detail alot of vintage Fcars and you can learn to spot the fakes from real ones just by "feel". If you saw that car sitting next to a real one you would immediately know which was authentic and which wasnt.
