A 355 can require considerable service so you might want to consider something that is readily serviceable there.

How about Tata's acquisition of the new Jaguar XF sedan? I have been in one. It's quite nice.
well first of all you dont seem to know about the car scene here in india.

we have like 8 F430's, 6 Lp640's, 15 gallardo's + SL's, 2 Drophead coupes, 5 aston martins, over 300 porsches, 10 Sl500's + 55 + 65's.. 4 R8's and 700 S classes besides another 200 7 series and 30 bentleys..

We've moved on from 'Tata' and if i want to get a 355 seviced i have many places to go today.

As far as service is concerned you are right. A friend of mine owns a 348GTB and has been suggesting me to go not before a 360. he has to get some parts from london sometimes and ground clearance is VERY LOW !!!

so as much as i love the car its going to be a big pain in the *** to maintain it..

Thanks anyways,
cheers

Whats up with getting Ferrari parts from London, the independent non dealer Ferrari service garages get their parts from there.

one of the best looking and sounding imo, however they are maintenance hogs from what I hear.

i have a 355 spider and a challenge stradale, i swear i think i like my 355 better, believe it or not. but maintainence wise, the 355 is a nightmare.
but my goodness when they are working correctly, it just has to be one of the most pure driving cars ever!

i think they're worth every bit of exaggeration about their maint cost found on the internet
wouldn't trade mine in for any modern F-car except the 575M for the V12 motor

true joy to drive, and literally takes your mind off things

Too outdated...and still carrys a heavy price tag for maintenance. Not worth it in my opinion.

Of the cars I own it is the best sounding and gets the most attention when someone is in the garage.

My daughter justs loves going to my parent's house - just north of downtown Los Angeles three consecutive long tunnels. She yells "weeeee" between tunnels.
