Hmm my guess is you'll be on to another car by the time this thread dies down. Scud maybe?

No Scud....I guess if anything it would have to be an ENZO....but I think he will have the 599 for about a year or so. Time will tell....either way DK is in the big boys club for sure!

no Scud for the time being. i was looking at a Scud, 430 spider, and 599. obviously i went for the 599. scud is just not practical to drive on a regular basis (daily driver). i actually plan to put 5K - 6K miles on my 599 so i wanted a car that was realistically practical to drive on a regular basis. plus the 599 was faster.

Wait Ferrari has colors other than red on tan?

Amazing car , in the right colors I bet you are excited about this purchase. The one question I want to ask Ferrari is how they got this car which is heavier than the Enzo to actually be quicker than an Enzo? 612 horsepower, suuuurrree ....and I have ocean front property in Colorado!

For those who have never seen this car in person, pictures really don't do it justice. It's much better looking in person.

thanks everyone. it actually looks like a nice day in cleveland today. it has snowed again for 3 days during the middle of the week and the weather has been poor. good thing i was in Italy. Anyways, i am going to take it for a spin today. i watched the top gear video and the launch control seems easy enough. i want to see 0 - 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

The scud and the 599 are very very close in acceleration...and the scud shifts faster. I actually prefer my scud to the 599 I had( put 3300 miles on the scud in 5 months).

just took the 599 out for my first test drive. the best combination of practical drivability with raw performance. i think am going to thoroughly enjoy my first Ferrari. unfortunately i did not have a chance to try the launch control. but i just wanted to get a feel for the car before i start to play with it.
