Radar detector hardwiring is nice, but I've tried a lot and am convinced of the valentine 1. Just hardwire it above, below, or into your rearview mirror (if you need people who do that PM me and I'll give you some names). Also DEFINATELY get Laser Jammers, those HAVE to be hardwired. I have Blinder M20 Extremes, and apparently they have a new version out although supposedly the new best out there is a company called Laser Interceptor. Get those going and you'll be golden. Have fun, your car is incredible!

Not at all. Convertibles are the only way to get the full excitement of driving such an exotic car. I know many people with 430 Spyder and Gallardo Spyders (who all previously owned coupes) and they all say they will never buy another coupe again. the full experience is in the spyder/convertible!!
