Ferrari F430 VP racing fuels

Has anyone tried using MS109 in the F430. Considering how high it revs I would imagine that the F430 would love MS109. My 997 turbo does.

The rev's don't really have much to do with it. The 997 turbo is different as it is forced induction.

MS109 will allow the ECU to adjust the timing a bit more as the motor is relatively high compression, but the difference will be nothing like your 997 turbo.

You may want to mix the MS109 with the 93 octane you put in it, it likely will like it to a certain extent as other countries have 98 octane and so i'm sure the ecu will register the difference and compensate. But your not going to get the large gain that you do in your 997TT

I wouldn't put a full tank in that's for sure. The Bosch motronic unit in your car will use a higher ignition map with better gas but 109 would be way overkill. Anything more than a 94/95 on a US map would be a waste. So mix it up with some 100 and 93.... We've got more aggressive tunes for higher octane but that would require you using higher octane gas all the time. And on an NA car such as this the gains are much less noticeable so I wouldn't...

I get carried away but the car just drives better with high octane fuel.

Fuel

I haven’t tried running the MS 109, but I can say that the car loves the VP’s StreetBlaze 100!

The fuel is more appreciated in the turbo but the Ferrari likes it to definitely when you are hitting the redline.
