What would you pay for this Ferrari F430?

Where do people find these deals? I've been searching for weeks, and I can't find anything lower than $115K with 25K miles. Lower miles are at about $125-$135K.

as a 360 owner I would not shy away from a high mileage 430 as long as I planned on keeping it a long time. In fact, you may avoid the exhaust header issue the low mileage cars have as they have probably been replaced already. If you get the car for 100-110, how much more could it depreciate in the next few years? Even high mileage 360s are still in the 60s.Heck, if you want a low mileage car, I'll sell you my 12k/mi 360 for reasonable money and go buy this 430...
only thing I'd say about auction cars is that with ferraris, you rarely see nice cars go across the block. I wouldn't use those prices as a bellweather of a well kept car...

Just out of curiosity, what color was your friend's F430?

If you are buying this as an investment then don't buy this car with higher mileage but if you really like it, going to keep it for a while, drive it often, then I'd say buy it.
I would say 100K will be a great price but more likely in the 105-110 - depends on your negotiation skills and luck.
Let us know.

with this logic, if he waits 3 or 4 more years beyond that, they will be a little cheaper still. You can't take it with you...

Negotiating skills still come into play if you really want that particular car otherwise just move on.
