Going to the Ferrari Museum in May

If anybody has any suggestions on what to do in there, or around Maranello, please share your thoughts. Was considering the tour but I believe it's 150 dollars (or Euros; forgot) but it's only for an hour and I don't know if they'll give it to some random schmoe walking in.

Also, I'll be going to the Monaco GP; let me know if you have suggestions.

Hi, did this with my family during a tour of Italy a couple of years ago,we used a tour company called Motorstars (motorstars.org), the guide is a fellow named Francesco and he was great they have several different tours on their site, most of the exotic manufacturers are in the same area, we went to the Lambo factory, ferrari factory, Ducati factory, and a private Maserati collection, Ferrari would not let us in the assembly area but Lambo and Ducati did and it was well worth the time.
Good luck, and have fun

Thanks. I hope that the other factories are really that close. That would be very nice to see the Lamborghini assembly line.

There is also a PAGANI ZONDA factory in the Modena area. I went there several years ago. It was in an industrial park, a huge area which at the time was not charted by navigation. Anyway, after some adventure, we found it. When we arrived without any notice, we were given a private tour and even got some posters and buttons. IT was amazing. The factory was very small but extremely interesting. I was allowed to sit in a Zonda-very memorable.
Also, Lamborghini factory and museum are well worth a visit. You deffinately do need reservation ahead of time to get in.

Yup! we did all 4 in one day, he picks you up at your hotel and drops you off, he also has different tours, Pagani is on his agenda as well, most of the manufacturers are around the Modena area, just check the website given above its all there. Francesco is very well informed, he has worked for Factory race teams and is well known in the area.

The website doesn't work. That sounded like a really good deal too. I'll see if there are alternatives, or check if it's online later. It makes the trip sound easier too.

Thanks; it wasn't working from work. Probably going to get the Ferrari, Lambo, and Pagani tour.
