I think the look will grow on you, but wasn't as immediately stunning as the 360/430

The 458 does look better in person, IMO. However, the rear end still hasn't grown on me, it just seems oddly styled and the taillights look too big. Maybe a Challenge Grille treatment will make the rear end look better. Also, the interior, while modern and well finished, isn't that racy looking.

I've seen several in person including one of the first at the factory. I don't think the look will grow on me. I love the flowing lines of the 308 through 430s with there relatively high rear window glass, and don't like the "stubby ****pit" lower back deck look of the Enzo and Italia - don't think I have will.

The 548 ride might be awesome

but I can't say the same for the cali. It honestly felt like a SL painted in red

The exterior is starting to grow on me, but the dash is pretty horrid.

I hated the initial pics. But I usually hold final judgement until I see one in person. I saw one at Boardwalk in Dallas. The exterior styling while enzoesque is actually quite nice. Once you get over the front grille the rest of the car specially the side profile is great. The interior is actually more dissappointing. The zig/zag air vents, the lack of proper dash in the middle just looks tacky. I couldn't believe this was a $300K car's interior.

But - I have heard that once you drive one all other concerns go way!!

I've been giving this car plenty of time to grow on me, and it hasn't. At all.

It takes some time to get used to it. When the 430 came out in 2005, I liked the old 360 front more. Time will tell but I am beginning to like rear of 458 already. I'm not a fan of the nose yet. I have no problem with the interior. It looks more modern.

Other than the wheels this one looks badass. I actually really like it. This one has changed my mind so far.

I was unsure of the F430 (esp the rear) when it first came out but it definitely grew on me. That murdered out 458 looks pretty mean but I could do without the cheesy "I'm trying to be a fighter jet" stickers.
