F458 at Fabspeed for R&D
We are designing a full performance package for the 458 Italia. This package will include a full Fabspeed exhaust from the Headers all the way back to the tips, and EVOMSit ECU flash. We have some great things in store for this car so stay tuned and I will keep you guys updated on our progress
Here are some more pictures from today....I was able to get some good baseline runs on our DynoJet and then we put the car on the lift. You can see with the car on the lift, and the rear diffuser removed it allows us to use our Romer ScanShark to 3D laser scan the stock exhaust.

I've only seen it rated at ~560hp at the crank, not the wheels. So if you assume ~20% drivetrain loss, its about 550 at the crank, which is close. Either way, its still a rocket as it sits

considering all the technical advances and wizardry used in designing the 458, doesnt 20% drivetrain loss seem excessive?
i would expect 20% loss from an old clunky muscle car with ancient heavy automatic and gunked up bearings and gears, but not from a new top end ferrari.

Don't know what to tell ya but the dyno doesn't lie. Not sure if anyone else has dyno'd one of these yet, I can't find anyone that has. We've dyno'd 430s on the same dyno and they're around 400whp. Here's the dyno w/ the AFRs, you can see how fat it is up top from the factory, so I'm sure that is affecting the HP.
