Well, I braved the 50F weather + heavy rain to buy my beauty -- 2002 360 Modena, 6spd, w/ 7,700 miles. She's a euro spec which I understand has some benefits (all paperwork is in order). She's been very well maintained every year at Midwestern Auto Group and the new owner just moved into a 458 so this one had to go.

My first impressions are as one might imagine -- amazing looks, performance and sound.

congrats on the new ride...love the fact that it is a 6-speed, any mods planned? challenge grill,perhaps?

 

i've always loved the 360's body lines over the 430's.

i'm guessing there will be less transmission problems with manual over F1?

I miss the 6 speed! nice pick up.

 

Very nice! I test drove a 360 and 430 but they just didn't call to me. The 360 was much slower than my 996 X50 and the 430 was about the same. The poor rear view out of them really killed me. Very hard to see to change lanes in traffic.

Yeah, Porsche always called me stronger than a Ferrari or Lambo. Took me about 20 years, but I finally caved in.

Although I'm giving up my Porsches for a while -- I'll be back in the driver's seat again.

 

This is a case where you could pass the Ferrari in your 996 going 100mph faster and you still lose. If you just want speed there are better choices. If you want style Ferrari puts you at the top of the podium imo.

 

How long will you keep this one? I give you six months tops and you will selling to get into another Porsche. 2 months if you dont intend to drive it daily.

I like tha cars you move switch to though. I cant wait to see your new 2012 991. LOL
