New Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

paint the wheels black and it would look better, not as good as a murcielago or koenigsegg in turquoise but better.

The side profile of the F12 looks nice. Long hood with short rear deck are classic proportions. My dislike comes from both the front and rear facias.
The front looks like a smiley face FF.
The rear looks like a Kia/Hyundai.
It looks modern and edgy but that's usually the playgorung of Lamborghini.
Ferrari used to be classic sportiness. I guess they want to imitate Lambo.

True enough there are some Zonda design elements, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Have you seen the new Zonda Haurya or however you spell it.
It looks close to the F430 replacement this guy designed back in 2006 so he was definitely onto something with his design interpretation.

This is the best picture I've seen of the new model...
Catchmyshadow - I'm ruined with the uterus comparisons, when somebody made fun of the Dodge emblem...

which inevitably leads to the questions, which ones are the greater pussies? Dodge or Ferrari drivers?

We might be looking at this all wrong.
Maybe it's why I want to ride in Ferrari or Dodge... It's subconsciously drawing out my primal urge to get inside and experience what it is capable of...
Has marketing finally conquered me?

getting in or getting out of it?

It would also explain why Ferraris are historically high maintenance...

The "keypad" is F1 brake light
The F1-style(emergency/low light/rain rear light) is the F12's third brake light. The styling cue is to emphasize the Ferrari GT heritage from F1. I believe that my 1997 550 has the "Tipo" engine that was developed from the V12 that powered the 1979 F1 championship car. The 550 engine is bored and stroked for lower compression and timed to make it a drivable car. But it still has the world speed record for sustained high speed driving by a production car (stock 1998 example: One hour with one fuel/tire/drive change-out, averaging 182.5mph )

I'm working for one to be delivered in 2015
My 550 now has 62,000 miles on it. I'm trying to anticipate (somehow) being able to afford an F12 by 2015, in Grigio Ingrid.
I am anticipating that the F12 corrects the weirdness of the 599 (which I drove an example of from Monaco to the Maranello factory- and back- in 2008, along with a 612 (far better GT- not harsh and jumpy like the 599 was) and a 430 Scuderia. Music video: http://www.LaserRadio.com/grazie.wmv
The F12 will be my "old man" long distance cruiser. The 911 Turbo S is the sports car. The Radical SR-8 the track car (if I can resolve my Hollywood problems) and within 15 years I'll be too old to safely drive any high performance car and will be drooling in my walker.
Life is short. Just drive! http://www.wyo550.com
