Just my subjective preference. Probably because it followed the F40 and preceeded the Enzo. Jan Brady? :-D
I think my overall point is that modern Ferraris have been lacking in styling to a degree; and I personally think it's on the upswing.
A 458 Scud, F12 GTO/HGTE and the Upcoming Enzo successor would be an enviable trifecta. 4-Seat Ferraris have been a "fail".
And $10-12M for a 250 GTO makes a reach into the past for classic styling a bit daunting.

LOL though I had quibbles here and there after seeing that my first instinct was to ask "why?" as well. The F50 will always hold a special place in my heart because of when it came out. Also how can you argue with a 2700 lb car with a fire breathing V12 practically bolted to your seat?

That's all I can do. :-P
It would be interesting for others to copy/paste the list and rate them.

Is your low ratings for the F50 based on looks, performance or a combination of those? Any other criteria?
Seems you like the F12 design. Even that Bugs Bunny front grill and Kia rear?
Looks like the new design direction is similar to Audi....you don't know which model is approahing until its right up on you. I, for one, do not like that.

So a couple questions.

For true timeless style, I'd still take any number of previous designs. We have a 275 GTB/4 and 365 GTB/4 (Daytona) that are more iconic than anything listed but the Enzo.

Especially in dark colors, I anticipate the F12 to have quite a presence on the road. The 599, particularly in GTO form, is difficult to supercede. I think they've done it. We'll soon see.
