The final count is between 58 and 62, but either way this is the largest gathering of F40s ever. By far. They've even got a 328 leading the way and a 360 Modena bringing up the rear.

I'll never forget the day I got to see my first F40 live in the flesh. It wasn't until my mid-20's @ the 2005 US GP in the special Ferrari parking area. Until then the closest I had ever come to an F40 was Sega Outrun.
I sucked in all the details. Its paint was applied so thin you could see the Kevlar & CF weaving ghosting through the base coat. The clear see-thru rear window gave everyone the middle finger long before the ZR-1 thought of doing so. I wasn't supposed to touch the cars as they were all property of individual owners, but I couldn't help but to run my palm along some of the surfaces and for lack of a better phrase, feel the car up.
Had it not been for the McLaren F1, this would have been "the" supercar for the ages.
Truly a stunning car whose looks and performance still hold up today.
