Independent ferrari mechanics
I am considering a used 360 purchase and the issue of high maintainence cost is a concern. What is the general opinion on using independent mechanics? Is this a good idea as a fairly reliable cost saving measure?

Independent mechanics are not a bad idea provided they're on top of things. You definitly want to do your homework. Look in the Sempre Ferrari, the FCA magazine that comes every two months. The guys in there are probably good shops. If you don't mind the drive, GMG is down here in Santa Ana. Their guys are factory trained Ferrari Techs and can do the same work as the dealer for much less. They'll be able to upgrade and improve the 360 too. Talk to Fabryce; he's one of the owners and will take good care of you.

You're welcome. You might think about having GMG do a pre-delivery check up before you buy the 360. Then you're sure to not buy a lemon.
