Ferrari Friday: 275 GTB/C Speciale Could Go for Mega Millions at Auction
Ferraris have always been expensive, especially old Ferraris. But lately there has been a trend at auction that has seen relatively expensive cars go for huge lumps of cash. In the last few years records continue to be shattered when it comes to older Ferraris, and honestly there is no end in sight for these cars.
In the upcoming auction in Monterey this August, there might be a new king and record holder in the world of vintage Ferraris.

Ferrari prices have gone totally bonkers. There is a 250GTO (ex-Fabrizio Violati) coming to auction shortly without a reserve. Speculation is wild.
This car is stunning (owned by Mellon-heir David Scaife), and, potentially, it could do as well. Or maybe better. Preston Henn's 275 Comp was written up as the first possible $100MM car. Just staggering.
There are a LOT of big dollar cars coming up, though. Seems like quite a few owners are taking some money off the table. However, if auctions aren't your thing, there's a very nice 250GT TdF (ex-Pete Lovely) available for $8.75MM at Fantasy Junction currently.
