F1, I have been debating that questions as well. I found a 2000 360 F1 spider, bad *** car. I got over the F1 vs. 6 speed, but I would like to install a baby seat for the weekends with the baby and give the wife an opportunity for some quite time, while the baby girl and I go raise some hell in the machine. Not a bad way to get to the playground :-)

I posted all over the various boards regardings the exact issue. I will probably go F1.

I intend to order a 6 speed unless they tell me that choice will delay delivery.

The other aspect that people have failed to mention is the 'tacked on' look of the 6 speed shifter versus the far more integrated appearance of the F1.

That part doesn't bother me at all...it reminds me of the appearance of the shift gate on the GTO.

Another potential consideration is resale. With only 10% of vehicles projected to be 6 speed, there might possibly be more of an audience for it.

I was lucky enough to drive a 360 CS on the track (WSIR) today. It was a F1 tranny. WOW. I want to change my vote to F1...

p.s. thanks again Amir!

The F1 is definitely at its best on the track. Unfortunately, I don't find it very polished on the street, where, let's face it, most of us spend most of our time. I admit I've never owned an F1, but I drove an F1 '04 575M for the best part of a week, and didn't like it at all in street driving. Most anyone with a 6-spd would be smoother. You've got this computer trying to guess from your throttle inputs what to do with the clutch, and sometimes it guesses wrong. On the track, where you're full throttle much of the time, there is not so much of a problem.

NO FRICKIN' WAY RAJA... THAT'S BAD A$$ BRO!!

IMO, nothing beats switching gears yourself, get the 6-spd! I'm talking about the fun factor, not track times or anything.
