Weird how the LaFerrari beat the Veyron, because it is lighter with more horesepower, but then the Veyron wins this time. The only variable should be the driver, but it looked like a good start, so they must have tinkered with that Veyron.

 

This is just another example a 2 GROSSLY OVER PRICED CARS.
You can build and Chevy to defeat this for 70,000.00 and laugh all day.

Real super cars are road race cars and the Bugatti tried to run the ring and never could never run 7;20 minutes.

La Ferrari could not beat the Porsche 918 so it GAVE UP..........
It also refused to run a
Road and Track event against the 918 and p-1.........

People who think Ferraris are so wonderful ?????????????

I would have to agree except I don't know of any chevy you could get and do $70,000 worth of mods and get anywhere close to that speed, but around a track, sure, the new c7 zr1, the 911 turbo, the GT-R all kill these cars in a real race. These cars just require way too much maintenance, they have to send entire crews that make ridiculous amounts of tuning and adjusting just to compete in a car magazine test. Then they lose and it really makes them look bad.

 

We are talking about a drag race. There are 100's of drag race cars for sale right now that can run 8 second quarters miles that can be bought for less than 70,000.00

Ferrari's refusal to allow a customer to run his La Ferrari is completely wrong.........
The 918 barley beat the P-1 ......
La Ferrari should have also run and 1 owner had agreed to lend his car for the test....
Ferrari also would not publish any time at the ring after 4 weeks of runs.
Rummer has it is was much slower than the 918.............

The only conclusion is they knew they would LOOSE .............
