Rosso/Tan: Racing Seats, Carbon upper and lower + driving area, full leather interior, full carbon engine bay, carbon ceramic brakes, F1, Tubi with test pipes!

^ can't beat that for an f-car.

A 6 speed compared to the F1 system on modern F-cars is like comparing a square wheel to a round one. It just doesn't compare.

exactly, doesnt compare at all...one is a joy to drive and the other practically drives the car for you...F1 tranny is great in an F1 car but can you honestly say you enjoy driving a sports car without a clutch???...i admire the F1 technology yes but its not a drivers car in my opinion...i have to have full control and that beautiful gate is a nice bonus!

I enjoy a car without a clutch much more, espacially a car that can shift 10x faster then even the best stick drivers. I also like how the shifts get really agressive in race mode, and I can flip thru gears without taking my hand off the wheel. In a few years, you won't see very many 6 speed cars. The F1/E-gear style trannys are taking over.

Different strokes for different folks!

i guess i will never understand that philosophy...if i cant modulate the power through a clutch, i cant fine tune my driving...you understand my point?...with a clutch i have an infinite number of modulation points in regards to power so i can really push the car hard...i could never let a computer take that away from me...and on top of all that its just plain fun and involves the driver in the experience!...unfortunately, there are a lot of these trannys being adopted but i doubt the clutch will be lost...there will always be true drivers out there who will demand a real manual...look at the uproar caused by the current M5 for example...there are enough people out there that want to drive their sports car rather than feel like they are in a video game
