I got my F430 today!!! NOW with Pics

That's right, this afternoon I had a brand new F430 delivered to my house...and I have put my first 50 miles on it...It is way too cool!!

Now, what mods can I do to it? <gr>

...and how do you keep the thing below 80 mph? I know I am going to get a ticket in it.

I love my Porsches, but the Ferrari is something different.

Chuck

You are correct, I have wanted one for awhile. It was a pain to actually locate one.

The comparison to the Carrera GT is inevitable and I have to say I am having trouble with it myself. The F430 is more civilized, has more room and is much easier to get into, but the GT still goes faster and drives with more confidence. The 430 is really eerie as it shifts itself. I could see the F430 being more of a daily driver, but the GT would be more amazing on the track or when you wanted to push it. It seems MUCH more stable than the F430.

The real funny thing is that they both have a glorious (but different) song coming out of their engines and...neither one has cruise control!

Most of my other cars have upgraded aftermarket stereos, but in the F430 and C-GT I have no desire to upgrade them. (They do both have factory subs and upgraded amp setups) The music is the really sound of the engine!

now, I just have figure out how to get a Lambo. <gr>

That F430 is just craizy. A dreamcar just like the CGT and you own them both. Congratulations

congratulations! Sweet, Chuck!

We need the inevitable lengthy cgt v. F430 write up when you have a chance to savour them both.
