Just wondering, My father was telling me about the time he went to pickup his ferrari back in the day (70's) at the factory, any idea if ferrari keeps records of that? Just curious to see if he were to buy another one, if they would remember he has bought 2 previous ones from the factory.

 

I dotn know what they did 30 years ago but now I think they have records of all the cars they sell and the original owner. I know a year or so ago dealers were supposedly submitting orders for 599 and ferrari was approving them, so I imagine they have some sort of system to keep track of that. Also apparently they wern't selling enzos to people unless they bought or currently owned a V12 so they must have some sort of database.

 

99% sure they have records...a Ferrari is a Ferrari! To be sure of that...convince your dad to buy a new one...
