As long as I like the car and can afford it I don't have to respect any of the engineers. They've lost my respect since the moment I paid 1 mil to buy that thing. If I want to burn it down and **** on it's ashes I guess I can do and won't have to apologize to anyone. Enough with the worshiping of material things. Get over it. These stereotypes and generalizations don't match successful and creative people.

BTW if you believe Ferrari and the employees of Ferrari are like in the 60s when they made cars to barely afford racing and would work at nights to achieve this you are probably wrong. Enzo was a passionate man, he did more to satisfy his ego than you can imagine and I am sure he would approve seeing those who buy his cars, no matter how expensive they are, driving them and not treating them like precious pieces of jewelry. I am sure the "poor man" that wet sanded that Ferrari is not so poor and I assure you that there are much worse jobs out there than this that get nowhere as much credit.

Those that buy supercars don't do so to make up for their driving ability or lack there of BTW. They do it because they love cars and because they can. They don't owe explanations to anyone. Most of them don't demand anyone's respect either.

 

first you get the money, then the power, then the enzo. then you show off, crash enzo, sue bus company, throw enough money and lawyers at the problem to come out with reputation intact. drive repaired enzo, THEN get the girl.
