I'm on the list for this through my local dealer...I expect still to pay a premium though....the way it works is all the owners friends get 1st crack....then best long time customers...then customers...but mostly all will pay a premium

Great sound, and super fast gearbox.....but only 20 xtra ponies. That scud was a "press" prepped euro version. The US car will weigh a lot more so real life performance figures over here will be less. For about the same money, you can get a novitec f430 and still make fast laps, while being almost untouchable on the street.

This is almost quotable if you know anything about me but...
I would take that over nearly any roadgoing porsche based purely on stock to stock comparos...that thing seems to have gone away from ferrari pretty boy and finally thrown a dash...no...a handful of crazy psycho killer into that thing...looks raw too...
That said...for that money...uh...forget it, Ferrari hasnt improved THAT image...so..997 GT2 for me...haha

Maybe I should start doing Euro conversions to the US cars by removing some of the added crap.

Not a bad idea if you are strictly tracking the car. But if you drive on the street, some of the added weight makes sense, particularly the re inforcements neccessary for decent side impact crash protection. A nice compromise for US customers would be to bump the power by 40 or 50 hp to compensate for the added baggage.
