Huge car show in St. Pete

At the Festivals of Speed car show in St. Pete this year there is supposed to be a tribute to German auto design and manufacturing, which means special Porsche displays, along with Audi and BMW! This show is supposed to be huge, with close to 200 autos and huge aircraft and boat displays. Also, I am hearing from very reliable sources that the Million dollar Lamborghini supercar, "Reventon" is going to be in the US in March and at Festivals of Speed, St. Pete. The show is on March 28th & 29th and is going to be awesome. Anyone here going? -Chris

yeah its supposed to be a great show... i'm starting to hear rumors of either a jet vs car race or a high speed fly by at the jet port reception the night before the auto show. that will definitely spice things up a bit.

Wish I knew about this earlier. I live in Naples. How do you go about buying tickets or is it invite only?

Edit - Can't go anyway, I will be photographing an event in Homestead this weekend.

Regardless, how would one go about buying tickets?

Tickets

I think the actual auto show is $10 and you just pay "at the door." As far as the Jet Port Reception you have to buy your tickets before the night of the reception from the website I posted previously. You can also preorder tickets for the auto show if you want but the tickets will be sold at the door as well. Just go to the website and click on the "info/tickets" tab and itll have everything you need.

A far as I know, they usually charge. I might be wrong but all the previous shows I've been to have had an entrance fee.

This is the first year for an entrance fee, but well worth the money. I am planning attending the Jet hop prior and the show the day of.

I will say this much, for the location and the event itself - it is simply amazing the quality fo vehicles on display. Hopefully the PurSang from Wallace's collection will make its debut there.
