Will be there with my fav Doc on 8/23 for the Fun run from W Palm to Orl.


Can we all hook up in Ft Pierce when you guys get off the Fl Turnpike onto I 95.

Just tell us a time and we can go down to W Palm Beach Lambo together.

That sounds good to me Don. So far looks like Matt and I will meet up on Turnpike and later meet up with you and Doc in Ft Pierce. It shouldn't take us long to get there.

What time do you think we need to leave Ft Pierce to get to Palm Beach by noon?

I thought abt where we can meet and this makes sense.

Total Estimated Time: 1 hour 8 minutes Total Estimated Distance: 67.47 miles


From the intersection of 95 and the Turnpike we are abt 1 hr plus away from the Lambo Dealership.

Alex (the head of the event) said we can get there early to see the cars and mingle, so an 11 30 arrival is fine. Lunch is around then too provided complimentary by Lambo of W Palm.

The best place to meet will be the FIRST rest area on I 95 after the FL Turnpike Intersection in FT Pierce.

We are abt 40 mins from the intersection from Melbourne. If we leave at 9:50 am we will be to the intersection at 10:15 assuming DOC doesnt push it. I am not sure where the rest area is but they are abt every 25 miles on I 95.

The first one there just waits for the rest.

We need to PM and exchange cell #'s incase of any tie ups.

Alex, per my 30 min conversation with him is a great guy and will make this a ONER event.. Last time they did this, there were 50 cars, mostly Lambos and F cars.

Come on Matt..

We all obey all laws including speed limits in the state of FL.

I rarely exceed the limits.

And this is a public venue to boot and could be monitored easily.

I just got back from the DC area yesterday, saw a beautiful new Viper, the one with 600+ HP. Parked it looked like it was breaking the speed limit..

The new Gen 4's are pretty nice especially with the new hood. Was it a green one by any chance. That color is amazing in the sun.

Here is my take on this DOC with all due respect:

We will leave Melbourne at 9:50 am in both cars.

When I get to the rest stop I ll clean off the bugs, wash the windows, read 3/4 of War and Peace and when you finally arrive we can schmooz about our ride down while waiting for the Orlando contingency.
