First post...local south florida vette
New to the site... first post.
I've got a 2000 Artic white Fixed Roof Coupe vette. I've done alot of work to it, all myself as I am a poor technician, working at a GM dealership here in South Florida. Been doing this for a few years, ... it's my second vette, and by far my most ever modded vehicle.
Anyways, been hearing about this site for a while now, wanted to join,..here I am.

Quick mods list...twin 67mm precision turbo's, pro turbo kit, afr 205's,fast 90 90, at the moment a STOCK bottom LS6, with studs, 230's .649 112 camshaft..., doug rippie coil overs, mini tub, 18x10 FIKSe profile 5s 295 fronts, 18x12 335's rear. maxed out fuel system,... etc. It's always beening added to so, the mods list change from time to time. Just broke a drive shaft(second one)... then I blew a head gasket so,... plans for more are in the works.
On the stock bottom end, 11.5psi, 12 degrees of timing( stock is 23 degrees to give you an idea)...the car made 787rwhp and 696ft-lbs shutting down at 5800 rpms. It's a fun car.

NOTE: the engine pics are in HDR,...which makes it LOOK super dirty,..it's actually nothing like that. ALso,..the engine pics were taken almost directly after the turbos were installled,...which have been on and off the car probably like ten times already. Anyways, i'll get some clean engine pics later

Thanks man. Sounds very different then before. I'm not a big fan of dumps but, I really didn't have an option due to money at that moment. everything had to be custom made at Double A(a) performance in Vero. I'm probably gonna buy two bullet mufflers, and have him make me some tail pipes down the road.

That's cool, it will get rid of some of your droning and quiet her down some...at least get the sound out the @ss end and out from under the car.

I quickly(i'm at work) checked out your site and it looks very nice. I'm into car clubs but, I honestly don't know if I could ever commit to something. I probably wouldn't be the best member. WOuld love to come check out a meet sometime though. Go from there maybe. Lemme know when the next meet is,...even though the car is probably gonna be down for some time now.

Hey Ranger, thanks man. It's a work in progress, to say the least. The car, however has never really had the chance to take it to the 1/4 mile without having an issue that day or prior to the trip. For some reason or another, the car just doesn't want to go down the 1/4. lol. One of these days, i'll make it to PBIR,... hopefully i'll be ready sooner then I think. Not too sure how the cars gonna do since I put in the,...lol...2.73 gears(cars intended for the mile(s) and highways)... so, it'll be interesting.
