Hey Troy, sorry the Orlando group couldn't make it. I was out of town and some things came up at the last minute with others. We'll plan on coming out next month.

threads are starting to surface about "formerly known as cars and coffee" on other forums. this is going to be mass confusion. you thought last months st. pete/tampa confusion was bad. Lets refrain from posting threads about this in other forums until monday after Troy has received everyones input and decides on the "official" name.

This is a great event. The third Saturday of every month the Dupont Registry has a car gathering at their corporate office in the parking lot. I know this will probably be too early for people but if you want to see the best variety of cars in one location this is it!! Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, Corvette, WRX/STI, Lancer Evo, Lamborghini, Viper, Callaway, etc....

I hope people are still getting together in Tampa but I am in DC now.

I am glad to see that there are still meets. I know DR has their's monthly because I still get emails.

 

Some of the biggest frequent meets in Tampa are held at USF Tampa campus on top of the parking garage in front of the library.

Recently, we had 200 cars out from all over the state and large mix of forum members too!

It's well worth checking out.

 

When are these events held Chris?

 

Are they high end cars or a bunch of 1990 Honda crx's with fart pipes?

 

From the pictures I've seen, they're mostly college kid's cars ('nice' rice) with some exotics in there.

 

Thats what I would expect having it in a parking garage at USF. Can't see too many exotics wanting to go over a thousand speed bumps there and campus police.
