James, I thought about that too but we are spelling it with one "X" and unless you know about VWFIXX you would never think about it like that. We are using the word fix like a drug or coffee. It's funny because my wife said the same thing about VWFIXX last night. I have this same thread on the FIXX right now so I will see what they have to say about it.

Right now the two names I am really liking is

Tampa Morning Fix

and

Tampa Morning Motoring

We still have a few days so something better may come along. On Monday I will do a poll and then in the evening make a final decision so we can post the announcement about the event on each board.
We have to get this info to Doug with Vortex Motorsports because he has a live radio spot on that same day and they need to start advertising it. This should be our biggest meet for sure!

 

I definitely like Tampa Morning Fix the best. Sounds much better and it flows nicely.

praudi from Audizine came up with Morning Fix, I just added Tampa to the front of it so it was a combined effort.

 

combined effort... bc you thought so long and hard about that one lol

maybe instead of meet and eat, just call it a meet and greet since food is not the primary function of the gathering

i still like morning fix even with the fixx correlation i think of when i hear the name.

if it was an early meet (6 or 7) sleep warriors could be an idea lol

 

What about "Tampa Luxury Cars and Conversation" in case you decide to have an evening meet.
By the way what happened to the pics that were taken from the drop top BMW? I brought my Subaru STI and was looking forward to seeing it driving down the road.

I agree, I would never put on a meet like that because I need to sleep a little on the weekends.

These are the names I have noticed getting the most attention.

Please submit any further suggestions by 4PM on Monday July 20th.

I will be taking those suggestions and making a decision Monday evening. Tuesday I will be posting the new name and the formal announcement for the next meet on August 8th.

I would like to thank everyone once again for all the help with this search for a new name.
A decision has been made for the new monthly car meet held in Tampa. After lots of suggestions and great ideas I have decided on "Auto Cafe". This name is short and to the point as well as non-manufacture specific. This name also can be used for morning, afternoon and evening events because it does not have a time of day in the title.

Please look for an email giving details for our next event being held on August 8th.
