I thought I was very close to closing in on 2 or 3 local cars here in Socal but then I found this one:

I'm from Naples, but fortunately for me, unfortunately for you, I'm on vacation at my cabin in the NC mountains!

The dealer is the local 'exotic' dealer in town and my wife bought her Boxter through them. It used to be Sheldon Porsche. Good outfit.

I would love to go check it out for you, but I will not be returning home for 2 weeks. I could contact someone if you want to go check it out though...lemme know.

I have corresponded with Tracy Crowell. Haven't moved much further than basic inquiry as it's hard to negotiate anything without knowing if you're seriously interested. Main things I would like to know:

1. confirm non-smoker
2. confirm int/ext condition is as advertised
3. note of any dings, imperfections
4. quick test drive to confirm it's not a rattle bucket (looked at another car locally that was thus why I ask).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I had an '08 Z06 for a while. Fantastic car and really loved it. Just a bit of overkill for a DD for me.
