*Orlando Fl, Cars and Cafe 8/28/10*
It’s the Football pre-season, the time when our grid iron heroes showcase their skills and give the world a glimpse of things to come. For some teams, early indications point to a potential Super Bowl run while for others, indicators suggest less favorable outcomes. There are also other major questions looming on the horizon:* Does Brett Favre have any pain receptors left? Does Chad Ochocinco get confused when people address him in Espanol? Or Why would anyone waste time watching a Terrell Owens reality show when the NFL already cornered that market since his days in Philly? Ah yes, football, ever perplexing, never boring. Thankfully, there is a beacon of stability in this turmoil. It’s a place where the unexpected is welcomed and everyone understands the “mission.” It’s The Orlando Automotive Club’s Cars and Café @ The Route 46 Entertainment District where the breakfast is awesome, the lunch is to die for and cool A/C is never more than a few steps away.

By now, the word about the Orlando Automotive Club’s commitment to charity is spreading but just to emphasize the point, we would like to remind everyone that :
·* * * * *Recurring canned food drives & special initiatives meant to shed light on worthy causes like the natural disasters and help for needy children are a staple of the club and our Cars and Café meet. We are officially partnered with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orlando and the majority of our collected cans contribute to the great work they do in our community.
Special Features:
·* * * * *Café Motorsport will be providing patrons with a complementary cup of coffee to get your motors going. The Café Motorsport Coffee booth is located behind the Route 46 “Smoke House Restaurant.”
·* * * * *We are now officially partnered with Rally 4 Hope so be sure to touch base with Scott and Don at the meet and check them out at the Rally 4 Hope website.
·* * * * *You never know who will stop by one of our events!
Please remember that this month’s meet is on August 28th* at The Route 46 Entertainment District. We look forward to seeing each of you at what promises to be an awesome meet.

I know there's a surprise every month. I was just hoping for an early lead. I'm a little disappointed I missed the 458 last month.

the cars and coffee event we are having a get together down the road at colonial town park in lake mary, where cars for the cure is held, from 12-3 with people grabbing some lunch down there. I will be attending cars and coffee and then heading over to the other event and wanted to make sure everyone was aware and invited. There are about 30 cars already planning on coming over after C&C. Several people had wanted to get some grub afterwards, and also do a drive on sunday morning together, which should be fun. I think PtPhotography is coming over to take some pics for us =)

I'll really try to come by after the morning C&C. I'm coming down with a friend and we have to meet someone in the early afternoon for something but I'll really try to stop by. Is there going to be a big turnout for the afternoon meet?
