Miami Rally for the Cure Event March 3
UPDATES: EuroTuner magazine will be covering all the cars (both exotics and euro present) and sharing the events on their publications!!!!
Hey Everyone!
We have decided to put together a very unique and special event for all of you. On March 3, 2012, we will be Rallying for the Cure as we rally to Naples, Florida!!
We have partnered up with a few local hospitals and companies to help put a smile on some of the kids faces this year. Our toy drive was so successful this past December that we just had to keep it up! Check out the details below. This event is open to all makes and models! I have put together event details in a Q&A fashion.
ALL DRIVERS MUST REGISTER here:

What is the Event Name and Date?
Rally for the Cure
March 3, 2012
Starting Location is Watson Island behind the Miami Children's Museum at
10:00 AM
Where are we going?
We will be Rallying to Naples Florida while making some special stops along the way.
What makes this event so special?
We have partnered up with a few companies this year and each rally driver will be getting a bear to donate to one of the kids at the hospital we will be stopping at while donating to research and treatments of pediatric cancers. In addition, this is our first true rally event that will revolve around doing good in our neighborhood.
What can I expect from my Driver Registration Ticket?
What do you mean Poker Cards?!
Yes! We have integrated a poker style run into the rally with a chance to win an awesome prize at the end of the rally!
Can We Stay in Naples for the Weekend?
Yes! Members will be able to stay the weekend in Naples if they please or drive back with the rally caravan. If there is enough interest for this, we will partner with a local hotel for a discounted FloridaBimmer group rate and host a party in the evening
Can I Turn My Car into a Rally Car?
Yes! We are encouraging all drivers to "rally up" their cars. We will be providing decals with the rally name for all drivers to put on their cars but we encourage you to make your car stand out for this great event (please note your local state laws). The driver of the best looking rally car will win a prize as well.
Will there be professional photo and videography at the event?
Yes! Our partnering companies will also be donating a professional staff specific to photos and video of our event. Local news stations and newspapers are also being made aware of the Rally for the Cure event.
Are BMWs the only types of cars that will be at the event?
No. This event is open to all brands, makes, and models. Much like our famous 10/10/10 meet, there will be GTRs, Lamborghini, Porsche, Audi, etc present.
Around what time will we be in Naples?
We should be arriving in Naples around 2pm with a prompt departure time from the rally start point on Watson Island at 10AM. We will be heading to Naples after our visit at one of the local hospitals.
Will there be points on the rally for people to catch up and regroup?
Absolutely! While speed and local laws will be obeyed at all times as this is a rally event and not a race, we understand that traffic lights can sometimes break the group apart. When you register, you will be given a detailed description of where these points will be. Also, all drivers will be completing their poker hand at these rally stop points.
