Veyron Insurance
#31
We just bought my wife a 2002 S6 Avant and it was about $300 a year less to insure than her 1998 Subaru wagon (through AAA)! I was surprised with that and asked why. They had said something essentially similar to what a couple of you have said; and that it was a far safer car in their minds, and that generally, the more exotic a car, the more likely that drivers are to take care of them, drive more defensively, etc. Sorry, that was a bit of a run-on sentence!
BTW, I can only wish I had to worry about how to insure a Veyron!!!
Cheers,
Chris

Since I work at a company that has a few of these insured I went ahead and worked a real quick number just to give you guys an idea. I work for a company called American Modern Insurance we specialize in classics, customs, exotics ect. We can pretty much do anything but your regular everyday car. I've attached a copy of a quote for the Bugatti I did real quick. There is no personal information on this link it is just something I plugged in to get the numbers fyi.

My ZR1 costs me $2,000.00 per year. I'm 48 w/ a clean license. My friend has 4 (yes 4) Veyrons, 2 are the gold targa models( Grand Sport I believe). He is self insured. It's a legal thing that I have not asked any details of.
