The owner supposedly specializes in salvage title cars. So maybe he needed the money and/or needed another salvage car.

I've heard that as well about him essentially selling salvage titled cars for a living, which is what creates such vast skepticism about this accident.

 

take the drivetrain and swap it into a kit car?

 

Ya man, build a ULTUMA GTR kit car and throw the drivetrain in it, then you wouldnt need a flux capasitor

Yeah, and then you have an overweight car with an LS1 in it, and not an 8.0 W16 partypiece.

Sure the LS1 is a great engine, but seeing a Veyron with it in would be ridiculous.
