4 post lift question

I've ordered a bend pak 9K 4 post lift which is supposed to be delivered this week. I am wondering what others have done in cases where there is a slight pitch to the garage floor. Mine is about 1/4" every 1 foot. Over the length of the lift this translates to about about a 4-5 inch difference between the fron and rear posts. Shim the lower 2 posts to keep evertyhing even? or are the lifts stable enough to place directly on the floor.

Thanks!

If you do shim I would suggest grouting with a non shrink grout. This is quite simple and if done carefully look nicely finished. I have not done this on a lift but when we use steel in house construction this is how we handle it.
1/4" foot fall seems excessive as we usually put in a 1/8. I do not think I would want my lift to slope though!
