New Garage with an attached House
#91
Thanks for the info FSU. I'll look into it, but based on that link and now that I see it painted, I might want to go the extra distance and do something like tile...have to see how things progress here. Weather was crazy when I had some friends over the other night to break in the garage so I took a pic which can serve as an update now that the inside is painted.

Also looking for some ideas on a couple things.
I didn't think through some of this, like this sub-panel. Can I just put a big wall cabinet over this, just to dress it up or is that a bad idea? Other ideas welcome. (the compressor is going into one of the mechanical rooms
Then there is the wheel/tire sets.
Complete Garage (and others) have like a long pipe you stick into the wall and the wheel just hangs on the pipe but I have too many tires for that to be sensible and I've seen some racks that mount high and this looks ideal (if smallish). Any guidance welcome there. Thanks!

after the honeymoon
Hi Bif,
Thanks for posting the story from scratch and all the pictures. Now that you've had a chance to live with the garage the way you have it - anything you would have done different? Anything you feel is missing or you didn't really need?
Still like the heater you have? Looking at those options myself and would love to hear from a fellow MN since we are moving back into the cold season.
Thanks,
Matt
