Car Barn

In reality, they are my father's. However, seeing as how he trusts me and wants to keep me coming back into my 30's (Im 23 now) I am allowed full access to the contents.

This vacation property started out as 55 acres in the Shenandoah Valley (Virginia) and has now spawned a 1200 SF Log Cabin, and (3) barns for storing vehicles.

The best barn is the "car barn" which measures 40' x 60':

-1932 Ford Roadster
-1941 Buick Roadmaster Convertible
-1966 Mustang Fastback GT (50 miles on full restoration)
-2005 Lotus Elise
-1952 Dodge M37 PowerWagon
-1997 Ford F150
-1961 Mercedes UniMog
-2002 996TT
-1952 British Saladin APC (Armored Personel Carrier)
-2005 International CXT
-1995 BMW M3 ..30k miles (my garage queen)
-2008 Ariel Atom 2 (The Last Atom2 to be built)
-1968 Oldsmobile 442

Not counted are the '08 Cayenne GTS, '02 Mini Cooper S, and '99 M3 which are all stored at their everyday house.

Pictures (more will be put up after work as well):

The plaque reads: "This Ariel Atom 2 was built with great care and pride, was completed on March 12, 2008 and is the last of its kind built by Brammo Motorsports in Ashland, Oregon. May it provide unequalled excitement on the street and total domination on the racetrack"

When I get home, I can post some pics of the '32 Roadster, and Mustang. Apparently I dont have any shots of the RoadMaster (I can get some in 2 weeks when I visit again).

The Unimog, PAC and your M3 are my favorites. That Ariel is sick too! I love the barn idea! I'm planning to execute something similar some day, but I'd like to build a small racetrack on some farmland as well.

Wow, that is an amazing collection! I bet you can have so much fun just looking at how these unique and special cars were engineered and built through the years. The Atom is really hot! Enjoy.

Thanks Adam! Yeah there certainly is alot to stare at. The Buick is like a time warp, the ATOM is so bare-bones, the 442 is torquey but wallows like a boat.

All are special.

Jersey: Not so much like McCain, but strikingly similar to Steve Martin.

I would think you would get egged or protested by environmentalists driving the CXT around SoCal...

As it is, in rural VA, the CXT gets more attention than any Ferrari or Lambo would. Its rare to come out of Lowe's or sny store to not find someone taking a picture or asking to climb up on the running boards.
