Hey Guys,

Need some help from the experts on maximizing the space in my 1 car garage. I basically only have room to park my car right now, but would like to get everything on the sides off the floor. I was thinking of using some 18" or 24" shelves along the sides. I don't want to put out to much money but would like to tidy things up and make the best use of the space as possible. A small work bench would be nice as well. Any thoughts or suggestions?

 

Would suggest cabinets. Ikea has them for $50.00 each. Dimensions are approx 30 X 30. Will get your stuff off the floor and behind closed doors. Garage wont look as clutered and you'll have more room on the floor. I moved all of my lawn stuff into a garden shed as well. Good Luck.

 

Just adding onto 997's post, if you still need more room and have a pretty large ceiling clearance you could consider putting in garage rafter storage units.
